In Nalanda, Bihar, a married woman committed suicide by hanging herself on Sunday morning. This is from Jamsari village of Bind police station area. The deceased has been identified as Priyanka Kumari (28), wife of Ranjit Kumar, resident of Jamsari village.
Regarding the incident, the family told that she was always under stress. Children were not being born till after 10 years of marriage. Even after treatment, she did not even take medicine. Everything was going well. Even at night the whole family slept after having dinner.
The family told that as soon as Ranjeet went out of the house on Sunday morning. Priyanka committed suicide by locking herself in the room. As soon as Ranjit returned home after going outside, he saw that the door of the room was locked from inside. After that he called the people nearby and entered the room by opening the door from behind, then it was found that Priyanka was hanging from the hook of the fan. After this the incident was informed to the local police.
According to the information, Priyanka, a resident of Prophetpur in Patna district, was married to Ranjit Kumar, a resident of Jamsari village of Bind in the year 2014. On receiving information about the incident, Bind police station incharge Roshan Kumar reached the spot with his team, took possession of the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The police station chief said that the matter of suicide due to domestic dispute is coming to light. Further action will be taken upon receipt of the application. At present the police has started investigating the matter.
